Dublino's family
The origins of our family and the surname Dublino are still not very clear to me.
From the 1540s to the mid-1600s, a series of more or less bloody and prolonged conflicts known as the Wars of Religion took place in various parts of Europe, leading to a violent opposition between Catholics and those who converted to the Reformation in its various forms. Some research, which I have not yet been able to verify in the sources, suggests that our Catholic ancestors immigrated from the British Isles (England, more likely Ireland), with some settling in Spain and others in Italy; some of them later emigrated to the United States. I have only found a few other Dublinos in other countries, such as Poland.
